Stakeholders

Many people work together to make the city. It is important to involve stakeholders from the beginning to create support and generate appropriate ideas. This increases the chances of greater quality and success.

Citizens

City inhabitants are either home-owners/renters of a land dwelling, or of an apartment part of an association of owners. All these differences in home and ownership ask for a specific approach that suits each individual’s interests.

Since recently, civil organisations that push for sustainability have are being set up more and more. These organisations usually work on projects such as ensuring the realization of wind and solar energy, and the communal management of city green.

To involve inhabitants with climate adaptation, it is important to clarify the urgency of the question, and to provide knowledge sharing and practical support in the execution of measures in the home and garden. The redevelopment of streets and neighbourhoods offer the perfect opportunity to involve inhabitants in climate adaptation projects.
