Stakeholders

Many people work together to make the city. It is important to involve stakeholders from the beginning to create support and generate appropriate ideas. This increases the chances of greater quality and success.
Workshop 2.2

Traffic and infrastructure

Traffic and infrastructure planners are responsible for city traffic and the design of street and neighbourhood infrastructure.
Many of the climate adaptive measures must be implemented in the scarce urban space. Important considerations must be made here in cooperation with traffic planners. The green design of a street, such as planting trees, often conflicts with the desired number of parking spaces, driving lanes and underground infrastructure. Creative considerations will have to be made here, such as narrower lanes, one-way traffic, use of shared cars, and so on. Traffic experts are therefore an important stakeholder.
